Why Boca Raton Residents Choose Us for KraftMaid Service

We’ve installed and serviced KraftMaid cabinetry through hundreds of South Florida remodels. Our KraftMaid sales & service team knows the difference between a Vantage maple door that will hold its finish in a west-facing Intracoastal kitchen and a Canvas frameless box that won’t survive the humidity wicking up through a slab-on-grade floor. That knowledge comes from field experience, not a manufacturer badge.

Grant Rowan grew up in Beverly Hills, CA, where his father handed him his first framing square at age nine and taught him to read a tape measure before he could read a chapter book. After training at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College and two decades in the field, Grant brought that same discipline to Boca Raton, where his crew now documents every phase with a photo record before the next one begins. “Measure twice, document everything, then build” - that’s how we work.

Under Clause 1 of The Haven Standard, your price is written before anyone picks up a tool. Under the 365-Day Done Right Promise, if it’s not done right, we make it right. And if you have a competitor’s written estimate, we’ll review it line by line at no charge.

Common KraftMaid Construction Problems We Solve in Boca Raton

• Particleboard and MDF core boxes swelling at sink bases. Boca Raton’s CBS homes sit on slab-on-grade construction with a water table 2-4 feet below grade. Moisture wicks through the slab, collects in toe kicks, and saturates the sink-base box. We find this in Arvida-built homes from the 1970s through the 1990s. The fix is a sealed toe-kick barrier and, if caught early, replacement of the affected box rather than the full run.
• Thermofoil door skins peeling at edges and seams. Florida’s heat cycles attack the adhesive bond, especially on upper cabinets near range hoods where cooking heat adds to the thermal load. In coastal Boca Raton, the problem accelerates. We’ve replaced peeling thermofoil doors on KraftMaid Prelude and Symphony lines from homes off Military Trail to oceanfront condos along A1A.
• Face-frame joints and drawer boxes separating in older Vantage installations. The original installer often didn’t account for slab moisture or the seasonal expansion and contraction of wood in unconditioned spaces. We re-glue with marine-grade adhesive and add mechanical fasteners where the joint has failed.
• Painted finishes yellowing, chipping, or blistering. West-facing kitchens along the Intracoastal get hammered by UV and salt air. KraftMaid Canvas and Prelude painted finishes chalk or yellow faster here than inland. We match replacement doors to the original sheen when possible, or recommend a conversion to stained wood if the exposure is severe.
• ARB rejections on door profile or finish color. In Boca West, Broken Sound, Woodfield, and other master-planned communities, the Architectural Review Board can reject a cabinet order for hinge visibility or a stain that doesn’t match the Mediterranean Revival palette. We pre-screen every selection against community guidelines before ordering.

KraftMaid Service in Boca Raton: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Equipment

Boca Raton runs on a dual-track approval system found almost nowhere else in South Palm Beach County. Before the city building department issues a permit, contractors must clear the Architectural Review Board of the master-planned community - Boca West, Broken Sound, Woodfield, Boca Pointe, and dozens more. These ARBs enforce standards rooted in Addison Mizner’s Mediterranean Revival design heritage, and they have real legal teeth. A KraftMaid kitchen order that would clear in Delray Beach in days can sit for weeks in Boca Raton if the shaker profile is too contemporary, the stain too dark, or the hinge visible from the exterior door swing - one reason many homeowners also explore Boca Raton Bathroom Remodeling through the same pre-screened process.

We learned this the hard way on a job off Broken Sound Boulevard. The homeowner selected a KraftMaid Vantage door with a subtle bevel edge that the ARB flagged as non-conforming. We had to reorder the entire run in a community-approved raised-panel profile, adding four weeks to the schedule. Now we submit finish samples and door profiles to the ARB before the cabinet order is placed. That single change has eliminated every ARB rejection we’ve seen since. If you live in a gated community in Boca Raton, your cabinet contractor should know the ARB’s approved palette before they know your kitchen dimensions.

KraftMaid Models & Products We Service in Boca Raton

We work with the full KraftMaid product line, from builder-grade installations to full custom kitchens:

• KraftMaid Vantage series: Semi-custom maple and oak doors, the workhorse of 1990s and 2000s Boca Raton remodels. We stock OEM hinges and match discontinued door profiles through specialty suppliers.
• KraftMaid Canvas collection: Frameless, full-access cabinetry with painted and stained finishes. Popular in newer Intracoastal estates where contemporary lines pass ARB review.
• KraftMaid Choice series: Builder-grade oak and laminate, common in original Arvida-era kitchens now due for replacement.
• KraftMaid Prelude / Symphony: Laminate and thermofoil lines, budget-friendly but vulnerable to edge peeling in coastal heat. We assess repair-vs-replace honestly.

We source OEM KraftMaid doors, drawer boxes, hinges, and touch-up finishes whenever the line is still in production. For discontinued profiles, we match through aftermarket suppliers with similar wood species and finish sheens. When boxes are swollen or thermofoil has failed across multiple doors, we’ll tell you upfront: replacement of the affected run is usually more cost-effective than repeated repairs.
